This in itself is counter productive to the company's goal to make more sales. A company wants you to buy more of their products so they have to get you to use up what you buy quickly.The sooner you finish it off the better for the company as they make more sales.

But as a consumer you want a makeup that lasts longer and does not require reapplying.
